FIRST OLD TIME SUNDAY FESTIVAL "LEB I VINO", Spatovo 2009

30 August 2009, Sunday, the site "Igrishteto", Spatovo village, Sandanski Municipality

Symbolic enclosers of ropes and stakes will be made. Only people, who comply with the rules of the festival, may enter to sing, dance, play or just watch the official concert.

The guests, who can not or would not find at least a part of a traditional costume, have to stay outside the enclosure as viewers only. After the official part the enclosures will be removed.

Requisites for participating in the festival:

• A traditional costume - or at least a part of it (koshula, saya, pregach, poyas, vest, fur cap, socks, etc.)
• A rug to sit on (no artificial or modern materials, colours and textures)
• Food - natural and traditional. No semi-manufactured goods, packaged food or chemically produced drinks in a plastic packing.
• Authentic behaviour (a traditional style of singing and dancing or an attepmt to "copy" from the elderly participants).
• A tendency to accept an obligation is encouraged: the goal is to learn the tradition and not to advertise a modern way of dancing or singing. I.e., every guest-participant is obliged to immitate the folklore style and to use his/her time here to learn something new, close to the region`s style, and not to present a balley choreographic style, spoiling the look of this folklore festival.
