A contest, concominant to the First Lebivino Sunday Festival - Spatovo 2008
Organised by Lebivino ART Formation and adherents.

The aim of the contest is engaging more people (relatives and friends of the "lasses") with the traditional culture and popularizing the values and style of the source folklore.

The overall presenting of the contestants must be based on the authentic and on what they know from their Mothers and Grandmothers. The height, sizes or walk will not be evaluated. All that matters is the typicalness and the aura of the contestant. There will be no award for the winner.

    Conditions for participating:
  1. Age from 16 to 30
  2. A traditional costume
  3. Minimum dancing, singing or story-telling skills in a dialect form
  4. Make-up is not allowed
    The evaluation will be based on:
  1. Authenticity of the costume and taste in the selection of details
  2. Character and demeanour of the contestant, typicalness and traditional nature of her expression, speech and view of life.
  3. Dancing, singing or story-telling skills in a folklore style (Balley setting in dancing or modern singing style are not tolerated).
