Leb i Vino:

Leb i Vino`s activities include:

Collection, preservation, recording and life performance of authentic songs.
Presentation of these songs and dances at international festivals, exibitions and lectures in order to popularize the traditional lifestyle and culture of Sandanski Municipality, the town of Melnik and the whole Pirin region.
Restoration and hand-making of authentic folklore instruments in order to keep the traditions alive
Participation in the "Living Transmition of Folklore Lifestyle and Culture - ancestors, contemporaries and future generations" program
Study and collection of textile art (carpets, national costumes, folk-style clothes and others) and hand-making of new pieces. In this way Leb i Vino aim to contribute to the preservation, development and continuation of this representative tradition
Study of the authentic old iconography art and creation of our own works, true to the same style and spirit
Creation of paintings, inspired by the folklore art, which makes this art popular among contemporary connoisseurs in Bulgaria and abroad
